I purchased this about 5 months ago, recently my four year old son has had two bed wetting accidents both of which leaked through the pad and stained my brand new mattress

had some extra credit to use and apparently the mattress pad on my parents bed was the wrong size. they dirty the bed easily at their old age and so i washed it. well its sanitized at least, but no it didnt come completely clean because it had been a very long time since anyone had ever if ever at all had tried to clean it. myself and amazon to the rescue. this fits all the qualifications for old people in bad health. right size, stain resistant, waterproof(better than water resistant), and allergen barrier. arrived on time and at my door. mom and i put it on the bed right away. perfect! i even love that its elastic all around. ive never seen that before. thats really neato! so yes i would reccomend this product and give the whole experience 5 stars!

Best mattress protector I have ever purchased. Soft, stays in place, easy to wash and put on bed.

Very disappointed. It was shipped without the box or any additional packaging. It was covered in dust and some hair was on it. Also did not like the quality of it. I'm returning it.

The mattress pad seams to be a decent quality; however, my wife did not notice that it was 100% polyester, which was deal breaker for her. It did seem a little thin, compared to the pads that we use on our beds. For us, we use 100% cotton on all of our bedding, so a this is as far as I can review on this product. The features that it states are very positive. The description never mentioned that it was synthetic and not natural materials.

Very nice mattress protector. I especially like the way it snuggly fits the bottom of the mattress. It definitely repels liquids because I accidentally spilled some soda on the blanket which soaked through to the protector but did not make it to the mattress. So I'm impressed.

It fits the queen size mattress and the description on Amazon is accurate as far as I can tell. I haven't had anything spill on it nor have I washed it yet. So cannot attest to that, but it does have a lining that looks to be waterproof.

Fits perfectly

I chose protect a bed because when I bought my mattress 10 years ago from mattress firm they sold me this brand mattress protector to protect my warranty. 10 years, MANY moves and sleeps later my mattress is still spot free. The original protector membrane eventually degraded so I tried this different model with the quilted top. I wish I hadn't and stuck with the original thin one. This thing is tight as a drum and is not going to shift at all to expose your mattress which is a good thing. However, it actually took away some of the lovely plush softness of my mattress and it feels more firm now. I'm debating sending it back (but you can never repackage bedding) or giving it some time to break in if it has any give. Also apparently my mattress is max depth so it won't fit a mattress topper under it where the original one gave plenty of slack to protect the topper and still hug the mattress. Even taking off the tight fitted sheet, the protector does not budge with that solid black elastic strip that hugs the mattress which is a good thing. There is a slight swishing sound when you depress the mattress with the protector on it but it is not noticeable with the sheets on once you are in bed and I am a light sleeper. My only downside is my mattress feels more firm now but I know this brand protected my mattress for a decade so it will do its main job. It was never really put to the test with someone wetting the bed or anything, just normal body oils, sweat, saliva, blood, dead skin etc all the things you don't want in your mattress. My mattress comfort being compromised is a big deal to me though. If you already have firm mattress or if you're sinking in your mattress and need more tension, it will do everything it's supposed to do for years.

I ordered this mattress pad for the queen size bed in my travel trailer. The pocket is deeper and the length slightly longer than my mattress, so I'm confident it will fit a standard queen, but because the elastic pulls it together underneath it still works well for my shorter mattress. The pad is quilted, and while not a pillow top surface, it is soft and comfortable. It is well made, with even stitches and no loose threads. I machine washed and dried it before use, and it came out smooth and wrinkle free with no detectable shrinkage. I'm very pleased that this pad is water proof, as I'm guilty of drinking coffee in bed and prone to the occasional spill. I recommend this product for anyone who needs to protect their mattress from liquids of any type, as well as dust.

Best mattress pad I ever purchased. I was waffling a bit due to the price, but this was so comfortable as soon as I put it on. It made my luxury mattress even more luxurious.

My son is potty training and as you can imagine having a waterproof mattress cover is a must. Wanted something that would protect but also not add bulk or change the feel of softness of the mattress. This protector has a nice simple elegant finish with the square pattern and it fits my sons 10" mattress no problem. Not noisy at all and the material feels quality. Inexpensive considering how much my mattress was and how good a job it does at protecting. Very pleased.

A good mattress isn't cheap, and I've never understood why someone wouldn't want a mattress protector beneath the fitted sheet. Some are padded, some are flat. This one falls somewhere in between, lightly quilted, which is perfect in my book. Not overly puffy and heat holding, but enough to protect the mattress that should already be doing the job of being as soft or firm as you want. I've stayed away from waterproof mattress pads in the past as being plasticky and loud. Materials have gotten better, however, and this is neither. Reassuring when I have occasional foster cats in addition to my own, plus the occasional child who has come in in the middle of the night to say they don't feel well before losing dinner on the bed. All the better if it helps with allergens and dust mites, given all the allergies in my family. Not only are the sides stretchy, but they also have a wide elastic all the way around, so the entire pad easily stays put. I do wish a top or bottom or side were marked. King size especially can be tricky to guess right the first time without one specified. A small inconvenience, however, as a quarter turn will set it right.

I really like this mattress protector! It's waterproof but doesn't feel plasticky or hot and uncomfortable. I like that it also provides protection from dust mites. It gives a bit of cushion as well, I didn't think it would be noticeable, but it's definitely cozier! It fits my 14 inch deep mattress well, and does not shift around. It's not the cheapest mattress pad, but it works well and feels great quality! I have pets so I want to protect my expensive mattress in case of accidents. This works great without compromising comfort!

If you are looking for a dreamy puff of cloud heaven this isn't it. It is an old school basic mattress pad that keeps your mattress from getting too funky. Although it says it is waterproof (haven't tested it), it is not one of the rubbery hospital types. It is fabric. Probably wouldn't be super comfortable if this and a fitted sheet were the only things between your body and the mattress. I'm using it with a memory foam pad and it serves its purpose. So far it has been washed a couple times and is holding up. Perfect if you are looking for something basic and economical to protect your mattress. If you are looking for something to make your bed more comfortable keep shopping.

This is a great mattress protector. It has a thick cover on the top with a water barrier and the sides have a wide band to hold the projector in place. I have had several different protectors over the years and this one is definitely high quality. It is a little pricey, but for the quality I think it is worth the money.
