Washable and holds up post-laundry. Worth every cent.

What does this product protect a bed from? Dust, perhaps? Liquids go right through it.

It was not at all easy to install but I don't think it's the product. It's the fact I'm old. It would be much easier with 2 people. Box spring very heavy to move around so you need. 2 people.

My box spring is 12" and this seems a better fit for 14"-16" but it covers up some old water stains that are sore to bare eye. It has zipper all around the perimeter for an easy installation. The material feels durable to last for a long time.

This encasement works great at preventing my cat from soiling the bed. The antimicrobial protection is a nice bonus that helps keep everything feeling clean and fresh.

This mattress or box spring protector can stop bedbugs or mites, but is not waterproof or will blocks liquids from the bed. I included a photo taken through the protector and it's mostly see through and not waterproof. The zipper is encased with the material so you don't feel it once it's on the bed. The material is noise free and very sheer similar to a fine netting.

It is noiseless. I can't help (thank goodness!) with the bed bug claim. However, the waterproof part confuses me. The cover is a polyester knit and it doesn't look like there's any difference from top to bottom. It doesn't tell which is which, so I tried both sides. Nope. Water went right through and onto my bedspread. Truth in advertising? There is no top, bottom, or side labeled, so you're on your own. The zipper goes down the side and around the top and bottom, so there's a help. Nothing like a box spring to challenge you! The zipper is reinforced at one end, but not the other. The washing instructions are inside the zipper.

While we all want to feel like our home is clean enough that we will never get bedbugs the actual truth is that even the cleanest home can end up with bedbugs if they are brought in from other places. We do some fostering of children and because we sometimes have rather large teens or more than one from the same family we have a king size bed in one of the rooms we use for the kids. We learned the hard way some time ago that precautions need to be taken to keep from ending up with bedbugs all over the place as many of the kids are brought in from some pretty dirty home situations. This encasement keeps the bedbugs out of the mattress and it also is waterproof on top in case we have a troubled youngster who has an accident in the night. Fits right in the washer so it can be cleaned and sanitized and right back on the bed with no fuss and no mess. It's durable, easy to install, good quality and good deal.

This is a twin xl full zip protector for a box spring less than 11 inches thick. This is like a pillowcase for your box spring - it completely encases it. This is water resistant and water runs off it; it'll definitely help keep dust out of it. The zipper is fairly small, but standard, for bedding products. Quality is good, this is as described, and this seems like a decent value.

This fit our very thick mattress quite well thanks to the deep pockets and the zipper design and quality keeps it nicely sealed. It was easy to install. I found the material to be a bit thicker and it feels more durable than some others I've tried. I'm not completely sold on how waterproof it is though. It's more fabricky if that's a word than others. Which is nice from a noise perspective but I feel like the lack of that crinkly shiny layer may have sacrificed some of the waterproofing qualities. Generally the waterproofing isn't a big deal but for certain activities it is important. Overall I think it provides an excellent level for mattress protection. I may even grab another for our box spring.

This product is quite nice but is an enormous struggle to put on. You will have to remove the mattress from the frame and have a few extra hands to wrangle this cover over a deep king-size mattress. The zipper pulls around one side to the other, so the mattress has to be stuffed in like a duvet. The sides are very deep, and the seams are stitched well. You'll enjoy the very soft fabric and the way it disappears beneath your sheets. Overall, the manufacturing is wonderful.

This mattress or boxspring cover is nice and thick and very well made. I like that it zips all the way up nice and tight.

Really great material, perfect for king size bed

The zipper on this mattress protector runs along three sides making it super easy to put on. The material is lightweight so will not interfere with your bed frame. We took the top mattress off. Unzipped the mattress cover and slid it over the end of the box spring. (Make sure it is centered properly. It will make it super easy) Then we tipped the box spring up on its end, zipped up the mattress cover, and laid it back down. Easy peasy! We got this for a bed in our seasonal cabin, but now I'm thinking our beds at home need this as well! The only downside was that there was a bit of a stain on the one we got. But not a big deal. No one will ever see it.

I have a 9" box spring and this fits a bit loosely. The cover is made of a nice fabric with a bit of stretch. The zipper closed easily. This is a good enclosure for protecting my box spring.

This is a nice soft box spring cover that zips around the box spring. It is waterproof and odor resistant. It is very soft and also very stretchy which makes it very easy to put on. It also is quiet, it doesn't make crinkly noises when the beg moves around. It protects the boxspring from dirt or bugs. It is also machine washable. It is nice but not worth the price. I would expect it to be half the price.

Since this goes all the way around and encapsulates the whole mattress, it makes it a bit difficult to get on by yourself. Overall seems like a good product. I will agree with the noiseless and doesn't seem to pick up odors. I'm overall happy, besides getting it on and off the mattress.

Fit bed perfectly and seems like it will do a great job protecting the mattress. Easy to place on and will be easy to remove to wash when needed. Zipper seems solid quality and I don't foresee there being any issues with it even after repeated washes. Recommend wash before using to rid of factory smell but I always wash any fabric item I purchase anyway so this was not an issue.

This review is for the queen size protect-a-bed boxspring cover. I ordered this cover because I needed something to snugly fit my mattress so that I could then gerryrig something to keep my mattress topper on - long story. Anyway, this is the second such cover I have ordered for that purpose. The first was way too big and of poor quality. Even though this is advertised as a boxspring cover, I took a chance that it would fit my hybrid mattress. It does! I believe my mattress is about 12 inches deep (11 1/2 if you go by the depth of the sides without tuft) so, I guess it's not much deeper than the advertised depth, but it fits fine. Stretches to be snug, but not too tight. So it worked out for my purposes. The fabric is a thin jersey weave polyester. There is no lining, so I don't think it can be considered an allergy cover, especially since I would be concerned about the fabric getting pulls in it. But it goes on fairly easily, washes well, and the quality of the stitching is good. I do want to note that with both covers that I have gotten, strain while putting on or off has resulted in a ripped seam at the zipper top. But since the last cover I had ripped in a way that made it useless, this cover can be repaired/reinforced. So you need to be careful to not stretch too hard when putting on and taking off. This cover has a very large zipper opening , so it should be fine with a little care. I was able to put this on and off myself fairly easily, but it would be easier with two people. Overall, I highly recommend if this cover needs your objectives.

I'm impressed with this Protect-A-Bed encasement! It's soft and breathable, not stiff like some others. Plus, the waterproof and bed bug-resistant features give me total peace of mind. Easy to install and washable too - highly recommend!

Arrived very quickly. A very nice and fully zippered boxspring/mattress protector in queen size. The zipper is great quality and the fabric feels very nice and movable. It doesn't make weird noises like some other bed protectors. It's not thick or stuffy like other protectors. It doesn't have any weird smells. It's very nicely made and quality and it washes very well. It is very much worth the price tag. I do wish it came in other colors, but what can ya do? Highly recommend.

Excellent quality, easy to use, very functional

Perfect. I got this one to replace the one we had that the zipper got messed up on. This one is much better quality smooth gliding zipper and material. It doesn't make you sweat or have a funky smell. fits great.

Excellent protector for your mattress. It has a zipper to close it and keep it completely free of mites. It is also machine washable and resistant to liquids. It was excellent for me since I have several pets and I need to protect my mattress. Mine is a King size but there are options for all bed sizes. I really recommend it.
