Last week, a new UK survey revealed some startling stats on what happens - or likely doesn’t happen – behind closed bachelor pad doors: hygiene. According to the survey, most single men admit to washing sheets just four times per year.
The survey also shows that once a single male gets a female in his life, he’s much more likely to improve hygiene. On average, 81 percent of women change the sheets in the relationships, and they typically change them every two to three weeks.
Euan Tovey, head of the Allergen Research Group at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, said that washing sheets may remove dust mites and allergens, but it’s not a serious health concern.
