Depends, the incontinence brand of Kimberly-Clark, is taking a new approach to their advertising. New ads are aimed at baby boomers, taking a “younger” approach to incontinence issues.
One commercial features DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys, Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers, and Wes Welker of the New England Patriots, wearing Depends as they run drills in clingy football pants. “Days of Our Lives” star, Lisa Rinna, wears the product under a form-fitting dress on the red-carpet in a second commercial.
Both commercials promote Depends new website, The Great American Try On (http://www.depend.com/the-great-american-try-on), where consumers can submit contact information for a sample. In exchange for trying the product, Depends donated money to charities supported by the various celebrities.
