Warrick Bell has been promoted to director of marketing and product development at Protect-A-Bed®, a leading provider of bedding protection products. Nadia Maykova joins the company as marketing manager.

Ken Millhouse, after 40 years of international experience, including 20 years at global toy company LEGO, a veteran sales leader, joins Protect-A-Bed® as the company’s new president of sales.  Millhouse will oversee sales teams, both throughout the U.S. and across 49 countries, for Protect-A-Bed, a leading provider of bedding protection products.

Jeff White, technical director at BedBug Central,predicts the bedbug season will extend into fall 2014. “Essentially we got a late start to the season this year with many sightings and infestation reports occurring in August, so we will likely see a prolonged season heading into October,” said White.

REM-Fit, a sleep brand from Protect-A-Bed designed for those with an active, healthy lifestyle, will join forces with F^3 Events to present the inaugural Urban Hoedown 5K on Wednesday, Aug. 27. The run will begin at Soldier Field, wrap around Chicago’s scenic Lakefront Trail, and conclude back at Soldier Field. 

The YouTube channel supports the company's newest bedding system, REM-Fit, which stands for Rest, Energize, Motivate. Protect-A-Bed, a leader in the bedding industry, is embracing its newest line geared toward active individuals and plans additional avenues to support the REM-Fit brand.

On the heels of its launch at Las Vegas Market to the bedding industry, REM-Fit is partnering with Chicago-based F3 Events to sponsor two athletic races in 2014, and one in 2015.
